Oia, Santorini. What an amazingly beautiful place! For years I dreamed of traveling to Greece. I spent endless hours looking at photos of the crisp blue and white landscape and reading travel blogs to learn the ins and outs of this beautiful area.

I convinced my husband (then fiancé) to go to Greece for our honeymoon and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a #nofilter needed kinda place!

Our 2 week trip began when we flew into Athens and played tourist for a few days before heading to Santorini.

Below you’ll see recommendations and pictures taken over our 4 day stay on the

Villa Katikies is where we spent many hours sitting on our balcony enjoying some of the most beautiful views of the Aegean sea. We also took advantage of the view from the small (nearly private) pool. The suites also have a cave design that add a unique Santorini feel.sunset-oia-santorini-greece

Watching the sunset at Ochre Wine Bistro was simply unreal. We enjoyed live music, dinner and wine while watching one of the very best views of the sunset on the island. They even bring you blankets to ensure you stay warm while watching the sunset!Travel-Blog-Santorini-Oia-Greece-red-beach

We rented an ATV and explored the island’s colored beaches. Red Beach was one of our

Santo Wines Winery was one of our very favorite places. We have such great memories from the wine tasting, music and watching the sunset.Travel-Santorini-Oia-Greece-boat-rideTravel-Blog-Santorini-Oia-Greece-Sunset

One of the best times we had in Oia was the day we spent on a sunset cruise. We enjoyed great views of the island of Santorini, great company and some amazing food cooked on board by the crew. Passaggio restaurant is a great local spot. We had fun taking pictures and posting to the Passaggio Instagram feed. You can see many others doing the same here.

I could go on and on about the Santorini but I hope with this blog I have given you enough information to start your itinerary for this amazing place!
